The challenge of this interior refresh was to seamlessly integrate new pieces into the client’s existing collection of furnishings and heirloom antiques. The rich interior of this more traditional home was brightened and balanced with a serene palette of neutral chenille and linen fabrics. As with many older San Francisco homes, it is appropriate to honor the historic qualities and craftsmanship as the interior organically evolves to suit lifestyle of the resident. In the Bay Area this tends to be increasingly casual, yet relentlessly sophisticated.
